Learn more about the information and documents we may need from you as part of your AEB funded course application.
We'll need some information from you as part of your application for an AEB funded course.
Personal contact number
We need to be able to contact you as an individual to aid you with the application process.
Personal information
We'll ask for some personal information such as your previous address and employment details during your application. The level of personal detail required is solely down to the requirements of the funding and to map across to our partners' enrolment procedures.
Wage slips
We may ask for proof of income during or post-application, this does not impact your funding but allows us to draw down from the correct funding channel (fully funded or co-funded).
Emergency contact
We need this information just in case we have any safeguarding concerns and need to contact someone who can help in the event of an emergency. As an education provider, we have a duty of care to safeguard all learners.
Additional information
If you are aged 19-23, we need some additional information. This is because if you are under 24 you can still access funded provisions to complete your full maths and English. See here for more information.
Wrapping up...
All this information is really important as we work with a number of colleges to provide the funding for these courses. The information we ask for is required by them to prove you are who you say you are, check you're eligible for funding, and allocate the correct funding stream.
There are a number of equality and diversity questions in there too, these are optional and do have 'prefer not to say' options in the dropdowns if you don't wish to answer them.
